Never do you think “Lice” when your young kids attend public school until they come home itching their heads. We followed the directions of the school nurse & used the over the counter treatment first. Having no clue what we were doing, it didn’t take care of it like we had thought. After a quick google search, we found Mary & her clinic. I CANNOT recommend her & her services enough. Her products are top notch(safe & effective unlike the crap in the store), she provides a comfortable stress free environment & experience! 10/10 recommend.

Let's be real, none of us want to be here writing reviews anymore than the rest of us want to be here reading reviews. We all like to pretend that lice encounters could never, would never, will never, and have never happened to us. Unfortunately, that isn't the case and, as such, this company has EARNED their five star reviews in dealing with the things the rest of us want to pretend never happened. I first heard about Mary and All About Lice years and years before I ever needed her, from a friend. Inevitably, the time came in spring 2018 or 2019 when my mom was babysitting my kids and sent me the message that my youngest had what looked like lice eggs in her hair. To say I panicked would be an understatement. Immediately, my mind was filled with all the memories of having lice myself as a child (we had chronically infested and chronically undertreated neighbors). All I could think about was the countless hours I spent in the tub with my scalp burning from chemicals, all the sleep lost as my mother tediously pored over my long, long hair until the wee hours of the morning removing every possible lice adjacent thing she could find, months without my stuffed animals as they were suffocated in trash bags and exhiled to storage out of the home, and a cycle of every piece of bedding in the home being thrown in the washer and dryer in as rapid succession as she could achieve. I thought of not being able to sit on the furniture because it had to dry after being treated and how many headbands and hair brushes we lost because they weren't made to be boiled. By the time we moved away from those neighbors, my mother, a single mother, like myself, had become something of a pro at the (apparently unnecessary) measures she had been told she needed to do. I cried thinking about all of the things I needed to now learn to do, when I remembered my friend telling me about Mary and her lice training. I reached out Immediately and was in Mary's (first) facility the next day - even though she was getting ready to move to a new facility that next week, she fit us in as her last client before her move. Mary confirmed our situation with my youngest and performed checks on my oldest and myself. Afterwards, she painstakingly treated my youngest and removed everything she could, while my kids watched a movie nonethewiser. While she did that, she educated me on how to home treat my kids, and how to treat my home (***SPOILER ALERT*** it's not anything like the overkill we are told to go through, or the measures my mom used to take). Because my kids are in school and recreational activities, I am learning that these encounters are just kind of.... inevitable, as unfortunate as that is. Our only reprieve, really, was the two years we spent homeschooling in the midst of the pandemic. Since our first encounter with lice, we have had more. Every now and then, we get hit again. I'm not going to lie, my first step is still to panic and call All About Lice. I usually leave a message, hang up, take a deep breath, remember everything Mary taught me all those years ago, and get to work myself. The amazing thing about All About Lice is they are there to help and educate, not to make profit. They are entirely transparent about what they do, and why, and what products they use (I keep some product on hand). They always call back in a reasonable time, by the time they call I have usually reminded myself I can do this... they answer my questions and offer whatever help I need. They are incredible, through and through. Are their services cheap? No... but what price can you put on your peace of mind? Is it worth it for the chaos they take out of an otherwise horrible experience? 100%! Also, all things considered, they are entirely reasonably priced for the service they offer. I cannot sing their praises enough. I tell my friends, my kids teachers, and anyone I can about them. If you need the peace of mind navigating this experience, this is the right place.

When we discovered my daughter had lice, I had no idea what to do. I went to the store to buy shampoo, that didn't work. I called my pediatrician and got a prescription, it didn't work. Finally I heard about All About Lice, my heros!! Not only did they take care of treating my daughter, but they checked the rest of my family and 2 others of us had it as well! They treated all 3 of us and followed up with us to make sure we were still free and clear of all lice and nits. I would recommend All About Lice to anyone, they do it right the first time! The staff and owner was very friendly, and informative. after one treatment my princess was good to go with minimal work to do at home. Thank you again, you made this experience stress free for all involved!!!

Ok these ladies are literally life savers!!! I just couldn’t deal with it any more but not only was I fully educated I now know what to do in the future and I’ve never had a problem since. Unfortunately she has gotten again but now I know exactly what to do myself. It’s actually made it not all that bad getting rid of them once you know what’s true and what isn’t. Thanks ladies!

When the dreaded day came that my elementary school aged child brought some extra itchy friends home (those little critters don’t discriminate) they very quickly wore out their welcome so I tried over the counter treatments and hours of combing. I also did the overly excessive cleaning thing thinking my house was the hot new hang out spot for every louse in town. I was sure I had gotten rid of them all, and even threw myself a party because I was so proud of myself for curing my household of lice. A couple weeks later, I found a big mama louse had been laying little spawns in my child’s hair again. I felt way too overwhelmed so I did what I should have done in the first place and contacted All About Lice. They got us in the next morning for head checks and then treated my child who was infested. We had our follow up appointment where only one egg was found! And the peace of mind was well worth it. Incredibly friendly and accommodating technicians and super cute little studio! 10/10 would recommend.

Thinking we knew what we was doing, we soon realized we were wasting money for over the counter treatments and not doing it right! Thank God for All About Lice and the great staff there. They were very professional, thorough, and educated us on the right way to get rid of the lice! They were quick to get us in and with one visit and us doing the correct treatments and combing it was well worth the cost! Would highly recommend All About Lice!

Miss Mary asked us if we would be willing to share our experience on facebook as she stated that a lot of her clients do not like to post reviews on social media because of the stigma related to lice. I have to admit that I told my children to not tell their friends that they had lice and not to talk openly about it. I realize that it can happen to any family, but as a mother, I was devastated that I allowed my children to be exposed to lice. Lice has such a negative stigma to it. When I found out my child(ren) had lice, I sat there and cried. I thought about all of the overwhelming cleaning and head checking that I would have to do. Plus, how did I allow this to happen to my family and my home??? I truly thought I failed as a mother and a wife. Shortly after I found out that my child had lice, I contacted All About Lice. They contacted me right back and scheduled me a time to come into the shop that day. My daughter was devastated and was so sad that she had lice. Miss Mary (aka: the Lice Doctor) made her feel comfortable. By the end of the very thorough inspection of my daughter's hair, my daughter could recite a substantial amount of information about lice and its development. My daughter at the end of the inspection stated, "I can smile now because my lice is gone." She made my children feel at ease and educated. Miss Mary put my extreme anxiety and embarrassment at ease as a mother. The knowledge she offered to our family about lice and the treatment was remarkable. She made me realize that I did not have to burn my house down and throw away everything we owned. I would recommend this service to anyone who feels overwhelmed, defeated and embarrassed about contradicting lice. Miss Mary made me feel like this was something I could tackle and overcome. My children left her shop feeling happy, educated and normal. As a mother, I left her shop feeling educated and certain that I could overcome this situation. Miss Mary made me feel like I was not alone and that she was right by my side throughout this situation. I am so thankful to have met Miss Mary and gained the knowledge necessary to combat this infestation. I left her shop feeling relieved and thankful. I know so much more about lice after having met this team. I won't be running to the drug store next time lice finds it way into our heads...because I now know it can likely happen to best of homes...but instead I will pull out my Terminator comb and contact you for non-toxic products. Thank you for taking the fear out of this problem by answering my messages and giving education and answers from beginning to end.
